Information
Baby Grow is an educational game where players have to raise a healthy baby. The aim of the game is to keep malnutrition at bay with the right mix of nutrients and by fighting off infections with different treatment options.
Aimed at families and children, players learn about the principles and challenges of raising a healthy child to the age of two. Baby Grow’s development has been led by the latest science of infant nutrition and development as applied to rural communities in Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Baby Grow was developed for Centre of the Cell in partnership with Wellcome, the Medical Research Council, Zvitambo, Tropgan and the Royal Society.
The game can be played on a touch screen within Centre of the Cell and as a mobile version for iOS and Android. The mobile version offers language options in English, Shona and Bemba.
